International Biennial Opera Singing Competition "Milton Marelli"

The 3rd “Milton Marelli” International Biennial Opera Singing Competition will take place in Mirandola, Italy, from 13 to 15 November 2026. Open to singers of all nationalities under 40, the Competition includes qualifying rounds, a semi-final and a public final concert. The Jury is chaired by Adua Veroni Pavarotti and includes representatives and professionals from Fondazione Arena di Verona, the “Luciano Pavarotti” Conservatory, and the opera world. Prizes: €2,100, €1,100 and €600, plus the Special “G. Verdi” and “City of Mirandola” Prizes, each linked to a prize concert with a €400 performance fee. Official accompanists are provided free of charge, and all finalists receive a Certificate of Merit and professional video recordings of their performances. Application deadline: 3 November 2026. Entry fee: €80.
