With great pleasure, MUZIKFERMATA introduces our first collaboration with Jonathan Mann for the upcoming conducting weekend in Oxford.
Currently serves as Music Director of Ensemble Cambrica and Director of the International Conducting Academy Jonathan Mann has grown out of the conducting tradition of George Hurst and Colin Metters and has developed a reputation for his dynamic musicianship and and inspiring teaching.
Repertoire
Glazunov Saxophone Concerto, Op 109
Stravinsky Apollon Musagète
The course is structured over 3 days.
8 active participants will keep intense focus on practical work on technical and musical sides based on your personal needs.
Musikfermata ensemble, wonderful pianist and soloists will ensure fully professional level of playing and warm, collegial support during the weekend.
Observers are very welcome to apply.
Individual podium time 45 min each day. Video recordings are provided
