I am looking for a new home for my Heckel Crest which was built in 2014 and has been my partner since 2019. It has been overhauled in December 2024 by Jiping Tan, and in the 5 years of ownership, many extras have been added, as can be seen in the pictures, and which i can describe in more detail.
With this instrument I worked in my first temporary position in Malmö Opera in Sweden, I entered Dag Jensen‘s class in the Conservatory in München, won the Academy position in the Vienna Philharmonic, won 2nd Prize and Audience Award in the Aeolus Competition. Also, it helped me win my current position as Solo-Bassoon of the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker where I have been working for almost two years.
It is a very powerful and charming instrument, boasting a characteristic modern Heckel sound and I am sure it would serve well bassoonists at any level in their journey.
