Fox Renard Artist Model 220, SN 12701, year of manufacture: 1985.
The instrument has a sweet singing sound, and a very even scale.
Comes with a balance hanger and A-whisperkey bridge by Mark Ortwein, which are installed on the instrument. Also includes: Original Fox handrest, custom made handrest, custom made left-hand support, 2 bocals by Fox (C1 and C2), and a Marcus Bonna nylon case.
The instrument had a full overhaul at Tan's Fagotteria (Hamburg) in September 2023, and it was taken care of (including replacing all of the worn out silver tubes) at Bassetto Blasinstrumente (Frauenfeld) in December 2025.
The instrument can be tried out in Trossingen, Germany.
