Full-time Chorister - Mezzo-soprano and Soprano
Audition:
Opera Australia seeks three exceptional singers to fill the positions of Mezzo-soprano, Tenor, and Soprano or Mezzo-soprano within the Opera Australia Chorus.
Audition date:
29 November, 2024.
Remuneration package:
Salaries are governed by the Opera Australia Performers and Music Staff Enterprise Agreement, and range from level 1 to 11, $77,336.31 to $98,365.19 respectively. Levels are determined by assessment and prior experience.
Repertoire requirements:
• One aria in Italian
• One aria in either French or German
• One aria of applicant’s own choice
• Sight reading
Residency requirements:
This position is open to Australian and New Zealand Citizens and
Australian Permanent Residents only.
