2nd trombone soloist
The candidate taking up the position has to be laureate of the audition and fulfill the general conditions for admission. Non-EU candidates have to comply with the laws of immigration.
The candidate is recruited on the basis of fulltime employment (100%) with salary 3709,806 € (gross salary) based on scale S03 (scale soloist). For all questions relating to remuneration and valorisation of relevant work experience, please send an e-mail to hr@nationalorchestra.be.
After the audition a competency-based interview will take place with the intendant, the chief-conductor and HR. The date for this interview will be fixed upon mutual agreement within a week after the audition.
The laureate who takes up the position is offered a fixed-term contract of minimum 6 months to maximum 12 months. After this period and after a positive evaluation at the end, a renewal of the contract (unlimited term) can be proposed.
The candidate works closely with the colleagues within the section, the section leader and all other colleagues. He/she interprets and performs orchestral parts in order to contribute to an optimal performance. He/she prepares his/her own pars, identifies possible problems and performs the musical pieces with an eye to quality. He/she takes part in auditions within his/her own section.
