The Royal Danish Theatre is holding a temporary contract audition for the Royal Danish Orchestra for
(full-time, short-term)
The Royal Danish Theatre is auditioning for a temporary 2nd Trombone position with the Royal Danish Orchestra for the 2026–2027 season.
The audition includes a video round (deadline: April 6, 2026) and a live section round on May 9, 2026 in Copenhagen. Required video repertoire includes David’s Concertino (1st movement, no cadenza) and selected orchestral excerpts.
Applications must include a CV and video. The contract begins in August 2026. Applicants of all backgrounds are welcome, but non‑EU musicians must already hold valid work permits.
