For sale is a lovely late 5k Heckel! - Will be in the UK April 25-30, 2025 for trial
Asking 25k or reasonable offer
Beautiful world system Heckel for sale. Big full sound, long bore instrument, very even scale. Features metal water tubes, French long joint with French keys, mostly similar across the boot and wing joint to a standard Heckel. Front whisper key, Eb Trill key, High D key, Back Ab-Bb trill key, not a standard back Ab.
Great for a collector or French bassoonist considering a German sounding instrument. Has not been played much over its 100 yr life. Optional C2XL Gold Brass bocal included, it is not the best match for this bassoon.
Selling in preparation of getting a new Heckel early next year. Must sell to cover a portion of the costs. I hate to part with it, but being pragmatic.
