Stunningly rich sounding orchestral oboe with a grenadilla upper joint, mopane bottom joint and bell, and gold-plated rings and posts. It has not cracked and is in excellent preowned condition. It comes in its original case with case cover. Custom built for the principal oboist of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and American Ballet Theatre, it has also been played on several professional recordings including the Broadway revival cast recording of “Sunday in the Park with George” with Jake Gyllenhaal.
