Teacher for Lower Brass
The Military School of Music with the Royal Guard of Oman requires a teacher of Trombone and Tuba. Suitable candidates will have a minimum of three years' teaching experience and a thorough working knowledge of the ABRSM exam system, up to and including the FRSM. In addition to teaching duties, the successful candidate will be expected to organize and lead training sessions and work collaboratively with other ex-patriot staff, Omani assistants and students.
The RGO offers a tax-free salary, basic health-coverage, an allowance towards housing and utilities, a paid two-month vacation in the summer, and an annual return-flight to the candidate's home country.
