About the position
Scope and discipline
The position is a 100 % permanent position, vacant from 1st of August 2025.
The subject area of the position is accompaniment of voice. The responsibilities include teaching and guiding students, artistic development work, and administrative tasks related to the academic activities.
Teaching and supervision
The position involves accompaniment and supervision of students in the vocal department at NMH, as well as participating in the Academy’s concerts. The majority of the work consists of accompaniment and supervision of students in individual settings. Some of the work is also related to various forms of group teaching, masterclasses, concerts, auditions, and exams. The position will also involve teaching in the Academy’s talent development program.
It is expected that the appointee will take the initiative to plan and lead seminars and courses within their field in collaboration with other teachers within the academic environment. She or he will also participate in the preparation and execution of the Academy’s entry tests and exams. Weekly presence at the Academy is required.
