Senior Artist (f) as Female-Artist-in-Residence (FAiR) in Horn
(part-time, short-term)

The following position is available to enrich our team:
Senior Artist (f) as Female-Artist-in-Residence (FAiR) in Horn
Number: 1179/1-2026
From the winter semester 2026/27, we require a Senior Artist in the FAiR programme for the advancement of women at Mozarteum University (temporary, part-time) for a 6-month temporary employment contract.
Who can apply?
Outstanding young female horn players (classical orchestra, solo and chamber music) holding a completed, relevant artistic Master's or diploma degree who, in addition to an international career, also aspire to a career as a university professor.
Other requirements are:
• Concept paper (max. 2 sides of A4) for a project to carry out during the residence with the support of students at the Mozarteum University. We particularly welcome projects that contribute to making the repertoire more diverse and performance formats more innovative, those that critically examine artists' practices with regard to power and domination, and/or that promote democratic education.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Very good written and spoken German and English
