The Vice-Chancellor for Culture and Society of the University of Almería are organizing the 6th International Orchestral Conducting Competition with its final stages to be held from October 8th to 12th, 2026 in Almería.
This competition, now in its sixth year, has established itself as a platform for young conductors worldwide. The winners of this competition have gone on to conduct concerts as principal or guest conductors in prestigious orchestras in cities such as Hamburg, Berlin, and Philadelphia, among many others.
The registration period will begin on the 20th of April and will end on the 20th of May 2026, at 23:59 (Spanish time).
