Mock Auditions Boston

Actually auditioning can cost hundreds of dollars and maybe a few tears. That's why we started this event, to practice before the real thing without breaking the bank.
Where is this located?
Mock auditions will occur in-person in the Boston area, on a stage within a 5 mile radius of downtown, easily accessible by public transportation. This one will be at Somerville Music Spaces:1060 Broadway #C101B, Som
Who can participate?
For now we are limiting participation to classical string instrumentalists: violin, viola, cello, bass. 18+ years of age
What is the repertoire?
Participants will pick an exposition of a concerto and 3-4 standard orchestral excerpts. Auditions will last approximately 10 minutes in order to best replicate a preliminary round.
What is included?
Following the audition, participants will receive:
1. A recording of their playing (audio or visual on request)
2. Comments from three judges
3. Option for a 30 minute zoom call discussing their experience
