International Conducting Competition Liechtenstein

The First International Conducting Competition Liechtenstein invites young conductors from around the world (up to age 32, all nationalities) to launch their careers on an international stage. Nine candidates - selected by an independent preselection jury, with at least two spots reserved for female and/or non-binary applicants - will work with a distinguished international jury, renowned soloists, and leading concertmasters.
Prize Money: 30,000 CHF (First Prize)
Career Opportunity: Guest-conducting engagements with the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra
Additional Awards: Exclusive trophy & extensive media coverage (interviews, social media, livestreams)
The participation fee is 100 CHF.
Application: Online until December 31, 2025, including a video (max. 15 minutes, orchestral repertoire, no piano rehearsals) and two high-resolution photos.
The competition takes place in the inspiring surroundings of the Liechtenstein Alps.
