Concorso internazionale di canto Ruggero Leoncavallo

The Ruggero Leoncavallo International Singing Competition was established to support young opera singers and to promote the artistic legacy of the composer who chose Brissago as his home. Open to singers aged 18 to 35 from around the world, the competition consists of three stages: a preliminary video selection, a public semi-final, and a final gala concert during which the winners are announced. The repertoire celebrates the great international operatic tradition while placing special emphasis on the works of Ruggero Leoncavallo. An international jury composed of distinguished musicians and opera professionals will award prizes with a total value of CHF 7,500.
