Cévennes Lyriques Academy
The Cévennes Lyriques Academy (CLA) is a summer vocal institute. Open to singers of all levels and ages 18 and older.
CLA participants experience 9 days of vocal study and performance with some of the greatest singers and pedagogues of our time, in the western Provence, at the foot of the magnificent Cévennes mountains. Our faculty includes the illustrious bass-baritone Kevin Short, and renowned French soprano Norah Amsellem. They will mentor participants in voice lessons, and coach them in acting, movement, diction, and language. Participants will also work together in ensembles.
The in-depth classes, performances in historic venues, and serene village setting in sunny Provence will enable participants to enliven their performances, and dig deep into the technical aspects of singing, and language.
