International Wind Ensemble Academy and Festival

The International Wind Ensemble Academy & Festival (IWAF) 2026 is an audition-based, intensive 15-day summer program for advanced high school, university, and young professional musicians ages 16–29. IWAF offers an immersive international environment focused on high-level ensemble training, contemporary repertoire, and professional development.
The program includes wind ensemble rehearsals and concerts, chamber music, solo recitals, lectures, and contemporary music sessions, with an emphasis on ensemble playing and auditions. Students work closely with internationally recognized faculty artists through daily lessons, sectionals, coaching, and side-by-side performance experiences, reflecting the standards of leading conservatories and festivals worldwide.
Applicants may audition as pre-formed chamber ensembles. Groups wishing to apply together should contact iwaf@internationalwindacademy.com
