ICA Concerto Masterclass with Colin Metters

The International Conducting Academy presents a Concerto Masterclass led by Colin Metters, ICA Senior Tutor and one of the leading conducting pedagogues of his generation.
Focusing on the art of collaborating with soloists, participants will study Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor and Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations.
The course begins with three virtual preparation days (7–9 May 2026) followed by four intensive days in London at Craxton Studios (19–22 May) working with piano, quintet and soloists Magdalena Filipczak (violin) and Liubov Ulybysheva (cello).
All sessions are recorded for personal study.
