Viola 41,5 cms made in 1987 in Lille, France, by Régis Hautin who made a lot of violins and violas for professional players of the Orchestre National de Lille (ONL).
I bought this viola in 1994. The varnish is beautiful (red orange on golden basis). Perfect state ( checked and optimised by Thierry Zubialde in January 2024). It is very easy to handle quickly, the balance is very good (clear and warm) and the C string amazing (round, warm, and very big). The price can be discussed a little.
