Cello Extra Work

(substituto / ejecutante extra)
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will be holding cello ‘extra’ auditions for prospective self-employed cellists who are interested in working with the RSNO on a freelance basis.
Auditions will take place in Glasgow on Monday 28th October.
Auditions will be 1 round, behind a screen.
Candidates will be asked to prepare:
1. Movement of a Bach Suite or Exposition of first movement of either Haydn Concerto
2. a small selection of excerpts.
Please note there will be no accompanist provided or required during the audition.
Excerpts and full audition details including times and venue will be provided to candidates after receiving your application.
The panel will consist of members of the RSNO cello section.

Please also fill out our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity Monitoring Form at the point of application.
Applicants should hold or be studying towards a degree in cello performance or equivalent relevant experience.
Closing date for applications is Monday 14th October.
