Thomas Martin Guarneri copy cello (2003)

I’m the first player of this instrument and have been playing it since I was 17, all through my Junior College (Royal Conservatory The Hague), Bachelor studies (Amsterdam) and Master studies (Royal College of Music London). It has a beautiful warm tone and lots of colours and character. Over the years it got a better sounding pin, tailpiece and bridge. It is still in excellent condition!

I have played solo concerts with orchestra, recitals and lots of chamber music with this instrument.
The reason I’m selling is because I recently purchased another cello for the sake of shake up my perspective!

You’re very welcome to try this beautiful instrument out in The Netherlands. The prices is slightly negotiable as I just really want to give this instrument a good home! I’m still in touch with the maker, Thomas Martin, and he would love to know where the instrument is going.
