Warsaw Wind Band Conducting Competition 2025

We are excited to welcome you to Warsaw for the 4th edition of the Warsaw Wind Band Conducting Competition. Since 2019, wind band conductors from around the world have gathered in Warsaw to refine their skill and make music. We invite you to apply to the 2025 edition of the competition.
Eligibility:
The Competition is open to wind band conductors without age or nationality restrictions.
Entry fee:
50 EUR for the 1st round (preliminary) + 150 EUR for the 2nd, 3rd & 4th round (accepted competitors only)
Repertoire:
Stage 1:
Candidates may submit repertoire of their choosing
Stage 2:
Paul Hindemith – Symphony in B-flat: III. Fugue
Mieczysław Karłowicz – Stanisław i Anna Oświecimowie, Op.12
Stage 3:
Mozart – Serenade in C minor
Stage 4:
Witold Lutosławski – Little Suite
Prize Winning Compositions from the Feliksa Konopaska Wind Orchestra Composition Contest (announcement of the winners in October 2025)
Prizes:
1st: 4000 PLN
2nd: 3000 PLN
3rd: 2000 PLN
