Mozart Repertoire Conducting Workshop with Prof. Georg Sandmann

We invite all conductors to participate in a unique workshop dedicated to the interpretation of symphonies by W.A. Mozart. This is a rare opportunity to work within a single course on some of the most essential and frequently performed symphonies by the Viennese genius under guidance of Prof. Georg Christoph Sandmann (Hochschule für Musik C.M.Weber Dresden)
Throughout the masterclass, participants will work on analysis , interpretation, and performance traditions — with a special focus on the essential conducting dilemma: "To beat or not to beat when conduct Mozart?"

Mozart – Symphonies No. 36, 38, 39, 40,41
Schedule:
Now 28: Score analysis and conducting technique lessons
Now 29: Conducting lessons with 2 pianos
Now 30: Conducting lessons with string quintet and 2 pianos
