Orchestra’s Conductor Masterclass – 2nd Edition

We are pleased to announce the second edition of Orchestra’s Conductor Masterclass, featuring maestros Cristian Orosanu (conducting technique) and Leonard Boga (score analysis). The course is open to conductors of all ages and nationalities, with 12 participants selected by the two maestros.
The masterclass focuses on two key works: Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 and Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No. 3. The goal is not to expand repertoire, but to deepen participants’ ability to study a score thoroughly and express music through clear physical gesture. The conducting technique follows the principles of Sergiu Celibidache, and the course includes Barform analysis—an approach based on the work of Alfred Lorenz and further developed by Romanian conductor Constantin Bugeanu.
The working language is English; other languages may be used as needed.
