Berliner Symphoniker & Arturo Tamayo Conducting Masterclass

This conducting masterclass is designed to help experienced conductors prepare for international conducting competitions.

The repertoire has been chosen to match what is often required in the first round of conducting competitions, and the focus of the masterclass will be on preparing the conductor to stand out and have a clear strategy when competing.

Only 9 conductors will be accepted

70+ min podium time with the Berliner Symphoniker orchestra GUARANTEED + 1:1 time with Maestro

Repertoire:

Franz Schubert: Symphony n.5 in B flat major, D.485
Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky: Serenade for Strings Op.48
Béla Bartók: Divertimento for String Orchestra

Conductors will rehearse with 2 professional pianists in advance for 60 minutes

BONUS: Conductors will receive a private 1:1 session (free) with Maestro Arturo Tamayo

Active participant fee: 1650 EUROS

Semi-active participant fee (90 minutes with pianos, no orchestra time): 480 EUROS
