Altschuler Summer Music Institute

ASMI will take place July 13–26 in Premilcuore, a historic village nestled in Italy’s Casentinesi Forests. It is open to students of all ages and levels, welcoming orchestral instrumentalists, pianists, guitarists, composers, and conductors.
ASMI fosters a supportive, inspiring environment focused on artistic growth and musical excellence. Participants receive private lessons, chamber coaching, orchestra, and masterclasses and seminars. Concerts take place in auditoriums, historic churches, amphitheaters, and classrooms with pianos.
The festival features solo, chamber, and orchestral concerts in prestigious venues, as well as the opportunity for students to record with orchestra. Faculty include distinguished artists from Juilliard, New England Conservatory, Royal College of Music, and the Bologna Conservatory, as well as musicians connected to the Leopold Auer legacy. Instrumental and composition winners will solo with and have their piece premiere by the ASMI Chamber Orchestra.
