Monasteries CelloWercken Zutphen- Cello Masterclasses

Music is not only something we play, but something we experience, embody and communicate. The Monasteries offer an intensive artistic process in which technique, interpretation, physical awareness and reflection inform one another. Held four times a year, they provide an ongoing space for artistic development.

Through individual coaching, masterclasses and ensemble work, participants develop their musical voice, technical control and artistic freedom.

You can also participate as a duo (cello + cello or cello + other instrument), with shared coaching and ensemble work.

Participants may bring their own repertoire, with piano and - at selected Monasteries - harpsichord. An informal public performance concludes the course, sharing individual and ensemble work with an audience.
