Join Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Magnus Lindberg & the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra for a 3-day masterclass exploring collaboration between composers, conductors and ensembles in new music.
5 active conductors + 5 active composers will be selected. Conductors receive individual conducting video sessions with Saraste. Composers receive individual composition lessons with Lindberg. Observer places are also available.
Topics include artistic collaboration, communication, commissioning, interpreting new music, professional practice, networking & career development. Open orchestral rehearsals, seminars and discussions are included.
