The first Ensemble OrQuesta conducting academy of 2027 will be held in St Leonards on Sea with one performance in Hastings and four performances at The Cockpit, London.
Rehearsals will take place in Hastings from the 3rd to 10th of January with a performance on the 11th of January. There will be performances in London from the 13th to the 16th of January.
Performances will be accompanied by 6 professional musicians from Ensemble OrQuesta Baroque.
Participating conductors will be coached on opera conducting technique and will conduct at least one of the two operas in a fully staged performance.
The academy will be led by EO’s, and Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra’s artistic director Marcio da Silva.
Tuition fee: £1,000 (payments can be made in instalments)
