Concertmaster

Job Description:
Performs all duties of a concertmaster, plays all violin solos (according to the score), tunes the orchestra before rehearsals and performances, organizes and leads sectional rehearsals of the strings as needed, and ensures the highest artistic level of the orchestra.
Performs other duties within their scope of work.
Required Qualifications:
Completed undergraduate and graduate university studies or an integrated undergraduate and graduate university study in the field of artistic direction, as well as acquired a higher professional qualification in the artistic field.
For candidates who have studied abroad, the highest level of education in the artistic education system available in the country from which the candidate comes will be accepted.
Required Work Experience:
Regardless of work experience
Required Knowledge of Foreign Languages:
Active knowledge of English
Required Special Experiences, Knowledge, and Recognition:
Accomplished artist
Special Requirements:
Passing an audition before entering into an employment relationship.
Along with the application for the tender, it is necessary to attach:
• Curriculum vitae
• A copy of proof of the acquired professional qualification
• A statement of knowledge of a foreign language
Candidates who meet the required conditions and who have submitted all the necessary documentation must obligatorily attend an audition in accordance with the Rules of Procedure and the Rules on Conducting the Audition Procedure for Theater Artists - Orchestra Members of the Opera.

Candidates who meet the required conditions will be invited to an audition, which will be held in the Theater building at Verdijeva bb, Rijeka on November 6, 2024, at 10 am.
