No special form for the application is needed, but please carefully state all professtional orchestras you have worked in. You may also include a video with repertoire of your own choice (optional). The video must not be longer than 3 minutes and not be older that two years. We will select applicants on both CV and, if applicable, video.
Applicants for the audition in Örebro will get a personal invitation.

The Swedish Chamber Orchestra is a full-time ensemble of 39 players based in the city of Örebro (2 hours west of Stockholm). The orchestra has its home in the Örebro Concert Hall, where each member of the orchestra has a private practice room. The orchestra gives some 60 concerts a year including national and international touring (Lincoln Center, BBC Proms, Salzburger Festspiele, Europe and Japan etc). The orchestra records for BIS, Sony Classics, Naxos, Hyperion, SIMAX, Chandos etc.
