This is a Saxon (German) cello, late 1800’s to very early 1900s - excellent condition with all constituent parts original. Original varnish. Length of back 30 inches. Fitted with Jargar strings. Good even tone and a joy to play. Sold to me by Oxford Strings in 2008. Very sad to part but am now playing a 7/8th cello.
