I purchased this cello in 2018. All records regarding this cello are available. It is a sonorous instrument with a profound bass, golden tenor, and upper register that has no trouble being heard in any ensemble. This cello's resonance and power are a wonderful match and I'm hoping it can find a new home.
The two-piece maple back is marked by a prominent irregular narrow width figure ascending from the center joint. The ribs are of matching maple. The neck and scroll are maple marked by a prominent narrow width figure. The two-piece spruce top has narrow width grain in the center, widening to the flanks. The varnish is orange-brown on golden ground in color.
Outstanding projection and incredible cello.
