Historical clarinet from the Classical / early Romantic period with original “spoon pads” set directly into the wood, typical of the German school.

historical pitch approx. A=430–435 Hz
length: 58 cm without mouthpiece
probably ebony or stained hardwood
silver/brass keywork
original, untouched condition
maker unknown, probably German or Austro-Bohemian origin
Similar instruments were made in centers such as Markneukirchen, Nuremberg, Prague, and Vienna between approximately 1780–1830.
