• Excellent instrument proficiency, ability to perform solos at the highest level;
• Profound knowledge of the orchestra's repertoire;
• Strong leadership skills;
• Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with regard to the first violin section, the orchestra, and the conductor;
• Providing bowings for the string section;
• At least 3 years of orchestra concertmaster experience in a professional orchestra.
