Lead the sound. Shape the spirit.
We’re on the lookout for the next Leader of Royal Northern Sinfonia – someone ready to set the tone, lead from the front, and work hand-in-hand with the brilliant musicians who call The Glasshouse home.
You’ll be central to how we play, how we connect, and how we grow – from shaping our musical direction with the RNS and Classical Team, to guiding the ensemble with both skill and heart.
It’s a big role. And a rewarding one.
Based at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music

Reports to: Senior Orchestra & Personnel Manager
Works closely with: Executive Director RNS & Classical Music, and the wider Classical team
