Varna State Opera
Second clarinet and bass clarinet
(full-time, permanent)
The Orchestra of Varna State Opera is seeking to appoint a two Clarinet palyers. Auditions are to be held on 19 May 2026 at 14:30 (GMT+3) at the Varna State Opera (pl. "Nezavisimost" 1, 9000 Varna, Bulgaria).
The start-date to be negotiated, following successful audition. The Varna State Opera orchestra will also consider candidates who are in the early stages of their career and can clearly demonstrate their potential to fulfil the role.

• Mozart Concerto /First movement/
• Orchestral fragments: Bartok - Concerto for orchestra - II part bars. 45-57 and bars 189-211
Brahms - III symphony, part II from 1-22
Mendelsohn - Midsummer night's dream, Scerzo , bars 1-39
Tchaikovski - V symphony, I part, bars 1-37
Rossini - Il barbiere di Siviglia - Figaro's Cavatina and Quintetto - bars 6-9
For Bass clarinet:
Tchaikovski - Nutcracker - act 1 Number 4, between numbers 33-34; II act Number 14, 4 bars after 69-70
