Principal Timpani

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is seeking applications for the position of Principal Timpani.

This is a full time, contract position. Salary: £48,826.12 starting minimum

Based in Poole, Dorset, the BSO perform extensively across the south and south-west of England, nationally and internationally, and deliver an extensive range of education and community work, through its award-winning Participate department.

The Orchestra’s Chief Conductor is Mark Wigglesworth; Leader Amyn Merchant.

Auditions will be held at Citygate Church, Bournemouth on:

· Wednesday 8 July

· Thursday 9 July

Audition repertoire:

· A list of orchestral excerpts will be sent to all those invited to audition

· A study will be given during the warm up time on the audition day
