For sale, a fine example of the work of the Klotz School, Mittenwald, probably c.1790. The instrument is unlabelled, but entirely characteristic of the work of the Klotz family and their contemporaries. The violin is in above average structural condition, with no cracks to the table or back, however it does have a slightly later head. Sound is sweet and characterful, with a wide variety of colours.
