Description:
The Juilliard School’s Preparatory Division seeks applicants for the position of Music Advancement Program (MAP) Wind Ensemble Conductor. Responsibilities include conducting weekly rehearsals of the MAP Wind Ensemble; preparing for and leading students in concerts and other performance activities; providing guidance to MAP Fellows (Juilliard college students) who offer support in ensembles; and building community amongst MAP students. In collaboration with MAP’s Artistic and Music Directors, the MAP Wind Ensemble Conductor will develop season programming that aligns with the artistic goals of the program.
Annual Compensation is $8,000-10,000.
