NO LONGER MISSING: Oboe Loree DS73 automatic and Cor Anglais Marigaux 3883 automatic
Stolen: 16 Jan 2025 - 11:00 - 14:00 GMT - LNER train between Edinburgh and Peterborough
UPDATE: British transport police located my instruments, and they have been returned (9 Feb 2025)
Case was in luggage rack above seat J10. It disappeared somewhere between Edinburgh and Peterborough. The train left Edinburgh at 11:00.
Description of Instrument:
Both instruments were in a BAM X Light back pack (double-case). The oboe is a Loree automatic system, black, with serial number DS73. There are signs of a repaired crack in the top part. The Cor Anglais a Marigaux automatic system, black, with serial number 3883.
The backpack case has two small round stickers, saying Malvern 2023 and Malvern 2024. A third small square sticker is of a hare playing an oboe. The backpack also has a green crocheted tie at the top.
