The CNSMD of Lyon is partnering with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Academy to support the post-master professionalization of a young violinist aiming to pursue a career as an orchestral tutti player. This one-year program is designed to develop high-level musical skills through joint guidance from both the CNSMD of Lyon and the Academy. The training focuses on preparing for orchestra auditions in order to facilitate students’ entry into professional orchestral life.
As a student enrolled in this program, you will divide your time between the CNSMD of Lyon and the Luxembourg Philharmonic Academy, following a personalized schedule defined by both institutions. While continuing to refine your skills with the professors at the CNSMD of Lyon. The Luxembourg Philharmonic Academy offers eleven young talents a comprehensive orchestral education over a two-year period in Luxembourg.
The programme offers:
Participating in concerts, recordings and tours as a member of the Luxembourg Philharmonic during app. 20 weeks per season.
Mentoring sessions with members of the Luxembourg Philharmonic.
Tailored coaching sessions and workshops covering topics such as mental and physical health, well-being, stress management etc.
Engagement in chamber music projects, educational initiatives, and private concerts.
Audition training to support the development of your professional career.
Master classes by renowned soloists.
The benefits include:
A monthly indemnity of 1.703,74 € (gross)

Permanent residency in Luxembourg is required during the programme.

Eligibility:
The formation is open to candidates holding a master's degree in interpreting from an accredited higher education institution, with a maximum age limit of 29 years on the day of the audition.
