Artistic Planning Manager
75,000 - 83,000 AUD p/year
The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra is in search of an Artistic Planning Manager.
Working closely with the Director, Artistic Planning, the Artistic Planning Manager plays a key role in artistic planning and supports the Director, Artistic Planning in liaising with internal and external stakeholders to program and execute all concert-giving activities.
The Artistic Planning Manager is a key member of the Artistic team and will work collaboratively across all departments to plan, market and deliver concerts and ancillary events, with the following top-line key responsibilities:
• Originate ideas and develop established and new concert formats.
• Engage and negotiate contracts for artists, presenters, composers, arrangers and venues.
• Create and manage project budgets in conjunction with the Director, Artistic Planning and wider management team.
• Input and update the ASO’s orchestral planning software (Arts Vision).
• Line-manage direct reports to ensure coordination of artistic planning and administrative needs. This includes rostering, supervision, and other personnel requirements.
