Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition (FRANCE)

From 19 to 25 May 2025, the eleventh edition of the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition will take place in the Auditorium of the Bordeaux Opera.
Competition is for String Quartets.
It is open to artists of all nationalities up to the age of 35.

€ 100,000 in prizes including :
€ 38,000 in cash
+ a set of bows by Edwin Clement, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, valued at €40,000
+ a ProQuartet masterclass program
+ a residency at the Ravel Academy in Saint-Jean de Luz
+ a set of high-end BAM Cases for instruments
+ an International Tour
+ the recording of an album produced by Mirare and distributed by Pias / Harmonia Mundi + Hen
