This immersive course explores a vast spectrum of English music, where students will acquire essential skills in English phonetics (IPA) and witness how they come to life in the genre of English repertoire that resonates with you.
Our classes are structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of the phonetic structure of the English language as it applies to our chosen songs and arias. The first part of each class is dedicated to exploring the intricacies of English pronunciation, equipping each student with a solid foundation in vocalizing English texts. The second part of each class will be an interactive masterclass-style open coaching session, allowing time for students to work on their selected songs and arias, with valuable feedback and constructive commentary provided by both peers and instructors.
This course requires an online application to be considered for placement.
Tuesdays 7:30–9:30pm ET

$1,040 plus $130 accom
