Menuhin Festival Youth Orchestra

Rehearsing and making music in a stunning setting, working side by side with professionals from leading orchestras, and performing in a final concert in the Gstaad Festival Tent – this is the Menuhin Festival Youth Orchestra (MFYO).
A key feature of the programme is the close collaboration with principal players from top international orchestras, who work intensively with the young musicians throughout the week under the direction of Daniel Geiss, while also performing as part of the orchestra. This unique setting enables participants to learn orchestral interaction directly from experienced professionals and to build both musical and personal connections with musicians from world-class orchestras.
The official application deadline is 15 February 2026.
