National Youth Saxophone Ensemble

The UK's newest youth music organisation, the National Youth Saxophone Ensemble of Great Britain (NYSE) will launch in 2027, and auditions are now open!
NYSE will bring together young saxophone players from across the UK, giving them the opportunity to perform, learn and collaborate at the highest level. The ensemble aims to develop musicianship, unlock creativity and help young saxophonists realise their full potential.
Our inaugural 2027 season will include three intensive weekend courses: February (London), June (London) and November (Manchester) culminating in a performance at the RNCM Saxophone Day. Led by a team of leading professional saxophonists and educators, members will benefit from ensemble coaching, guest tutors, technique classes, expert tuition and more.
NYSE is open to saxophonists aged 13-19 (Yr9 - 1st Yr Undergraduate) who are playing at around Grade 8 standard or above. We also have a Mentor Scheme open to final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students.
