Ballet of the Slovak National Theatre (SND) in Bratislava invites applications for the position of

BALLET PIANIST

The Slovak National Theatre (Slovenské národné divadlo), one of the most important cultural institutions in Slovakia, consists of three ensembles Ballet, Drama and Opera.
Established in 1920, it is one of the oldest professional theatres in Slovakia.

The Ballet Pianist is expected to provide musical accompaniment during classical dance classes of members of the SND Ballet ensemble and during rehearsals of the SND Ballet repertoire.

The ideal candidate should hold a university music degree, is required to sight read and is able to improvise. Previous experience playing for dance classes and familiarity with standard ballet repertoire would be an advantage. A sound command of either Slovak, English or Czech is required.

Starting monthly salary from Euro 1,500 gross
Start date August/September 2024
