Odense Symphony Orchestra is looking for a 1st solo flute player/Principal flute with an excellent musical and technical profile, and good collaboration skills.
Audition to take place May 20th 2025. Applications are solely accepted through the designated link.
Among the registered applicants, the jury reserves the right to invite a number of applicants. Either to the first round or to submit a video for pre-audition.
An accompanist will be provided at the audition itself.
The applicant will cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
The position is a full-time position as 1st solo flute with obligation to 2nd solo flute.
The position will be shared during a transitional period with the current 1st solo. During this period, the advertised position will play 70% as 1st solo and 30% as 2nd solo. After that, the position is 100% 1st solo.
Application deadline: April 1, 2025.
Notification of pre-audition video or direct invitation immediately thereafter.
Deadline for video submission: April 21, 2025.
On April 25, applicants who have been asked for a video will be informed about their participation in the competition.
